LOVE THIS!!!! FOREVER REBLOG: Recovery DOES happen when you sleep, your muscles are repairing themselves. :) It happens right after a workout which is why you drink a protein drink but 95% of the recovery and rebuilding happens at night when you sleep :)
rest days should be cherished and NOT looked down upon!! it’s very admirable to listen to your body. we don’t do that enough as a society.
YESS. I hate when people are like “WELL i thought you were losing weight, why arent you at the gym today blablabla”.. I have to rest too ya fuckin idiot. Worry about yourself.
