There is absolutely nothing someone (on the internet or otherwise) can say to make you choose salads over chocolate or not eat the whole pizza or get to the gym every day. There is no magic trick, no phrase, no mantra, nothing.
One day, YOU decide that what you’re doing isn’t cutting it anymore.
YOU decide that certain foods make you feel like shit, so you stop eating them. Or you eat them less.
YOU decide that certain exercises make you look a certain way or feel good or whatever, so you do it.
YOU decide that going to bed at 9pm or saying “no” to certain social functions so you can make it to the gym is a priority.
YOU make these choices.
Sure, you can turn to others. You can look at fitspo and follow diet plans and complex workouts that will promise you your goals. Eventually you find things that work for you. You stop doing things that don’t. You start looking internally for motivation and stop idolizing others.
